A stunning 19th Century finely cast polished brass coal scuttle and shovel of exceptional quality. The ornately embossed body of helmet form is beautifully decorated with fabulous scroll, foliate, masque and trailing foliate motif detail throughout. Surmounted with decorative carrying handle and with a further handle to the rear for neatly storing the brass shovel, supported on an elegant, moulded and domed circular base.
