A very rare and fine 19th Century giltwood dressing or pier mirror, of exceptional quality and both tall and narrow proportions. The mirror glass plate is set within a finely hand carved giltwood frame with curved top and alternating rows of foliate and bead detail throughout, supported on shaped platform base with a gorgeous pierced arrangement of richly scrolling acanthus leaves and c-scroll motif detail to each side, fabulously hand carved in high relief.
