A beautiful pair of 19th Century polished brass candle sticks in the Empire style. Ornately decorated throughout, the sconce and capitals with lambs tongue and foliate motif raised on baluster stem with concentric ring detail, flower head and acanthus leaf motifs, supported on tripod paw foot terminating on platform base of circular form.
