A fabulous 19th Century mahogany centre table, finely hand carved and of exceptional quality with beautifully rich patination and grain. The well figured moulded top of circular form with thumb moulded double edged border is raised over a simple frieze, supported on a tripod base with a gorgeous ring turned baluster pod with decorative fluted concentric ring and sphere motif detail. Raised over a stunning highly carved intricately detailed panelled trefoil base with elegant out-scrolling legs featuring richly scrolling foliate, lambs tongue and sphere motifs throughout, terminating on scroll foot and finely cast brass casters.
