A fabulous 19th Century finely cast polished copper and brass coal scuttle of exceptional quality. The beautifully shaped and simple body of helmet form is surmounted with a decorative brass carrying handle with ring turned wooded detail with a further handle to the rear for neatly storing the shovel, supported on an elegant moulded and fluted domed circular base.
