A fabulous Edwardian mahogany occasional or lamp table of exceptional quality and finely carved with beautifully rich patination, grain and with line inlay and marquetry detail. The well figured top of rectangular form with canted corners features delicate line inlay and a gorgeous marquetry shell motif to the central reserve over a simple frieze. Supported on elegantly tapering ring turned leg conjoined with a beautifully shaped shelved undertier with further line inlay detail above an x stretcher.
