A fabulous Edwardian mahogany occasional or lamp table, of exceptional quality, finely carved, richly patinated, crossbanded and inlaid throughout. The finely figured, crossbanded, line inlaid and moulded top of oval form is embellished to the central reserve with a fabulous inlaid oval pattern with exquisite marquetry work depicting a beautifully detailed arrangement of flowerheads and foliate motif detail. Raised above simple frieze supported over delicate, line inlaid spandrels and elegantly, tapering square out-splayed leg conjoined with decorative concave x-stretcher with oval shelved undertier.
