A fabulous Georgian well figured mahogany corner table or wash stand of exceptional quality, finely hand carved with beautifully rich patination, grain and with gorgeous inlaid detailing throughout. The shaped and moulded serpentine gallery back with a single shelf is raised above a moulded bowfront top with fluted border trim which can be removed to reveal a fitted section for a porcelain bowl and washing accoutrements. Raised over a simple frieze with a delicate line inlaid panel above a shelved undertier which features three short inlaid drawers, all with well cast brass ring pulls. Supported on square elegantly tapering out-splayed legs conjoined with shaped stretcher.
