A gorgeous 19th Century well figured walnut nursing chair of exceptional quality and finely hand carved with rich patination, grain and is reupholstered with a stunning floral pattern with pairs of birds in delicate hues of blues, yellows, golds and cream. The shaped back is flanked with fabulous finial detail with decorative carved panels throughout the chair frame. Supported on outplayed legs to the rear and elegantly tapering, fluted ring turned legs to the fore with scroll and foliate motifs, terminating on well cast brass and ceramic casters with beaded row detail.
