A gorgeous 19th Century giltwood mirror of oval form, finely hand carved and of neat proportions. The mirror glass plate is set within a fabulous moulded and fluted giltwood frame with alternating rows of foliate, sphere and beaded row detail. Surmounted with pierced crest composition comprising of centred cabochon, flowerheads, c-scrolls and ruffles flanked with scrolling foliate and trailing bellhusks motifs, beautifully carved in high relief.
