A lovely quality 19th Century brass fire screen, fully restored and polished. The protective mesh wire of rectangular form is set within an embossed brass frame surmounted with an elegant carrying handle with scroll and foliate motif detail. The wire mesh is adorned with intricate decorative brass motifs comprising of a centred pair of torches, flame and ribbon bow detail framed with four foliate garlands to the corners, supported on pierced trestle foot with foliate and s scroll motifs.
