A lovely quality early 20th Century compartmental giltwood overmantle mirror of rectangular form. The stepped cornice applied with a row of spheres above a beautifully decorated deep frieze depicting a Neoclassical figural scene of Apollo, his entourage, winged heralds, soldiers and a chariot pulled by lions, raised over three compartmental bevelled glass plates flanked with elaborately stylised corinthian columns.
