A rare 19th Century inlaid flame mahogany centre table, finely hand carved and of fabulous quality with rich patination and grain. The line inlaid moulded top of circular form is embellished with beautifully detailed marquetry work featuring foliate motif detail to the central reserve, above frieze fitted with three numbered drawers, each fitted with brass escutcheons and key. Supported on finely turned hexagonal baluster pod on trefoil base with elegant outswept scroll legs with gorgeous inlaid marquetry foliate detail, terminating on platform base with stylised bun foot.
