A rare, stunning quality early 19th Century Regency fruitwood combination games or work table, inlaid and brass mounted throughout. The moulded central section with inlaid checkerboard flanked with demilune sides with pierced brass gallery grille. The inlaid top sliding out to reveal fitted section with green baize lined interior, raised above simple brass mounted frieze flanked with two fitted drawers over a removable upholstered workbag. Supported on brass inlaid uprights with scroll detail, joined with shaped stretcher terminating on outsplayed foot with with foliate brass inlay and brass paw foot. Stamped, K. Dupas.
