A stunning 19th Century distress painted arch top overmantle mirror of large proportions. The beautiful original mirror glass plate set within a hand carved, moulded frame with finely carved motifs comprising of beading and guilloche scroll detail, surmounted with centred stylised scrolling acanthus leaf. The platform base with a further arrangement of scrolling acanthus leaf motifs to the sides.
