A stunning 19th Century fully restored embossed polished brass fire screen, of fabulous quality with gorgeous foliate, berry and ribbon cross detail throughout. The protective wire mesh screen of rectangular form with curved top is set within a beautifully cast brass frame surmounted with an elegant ribbon bow carrying handle flanked with flaming torch finials. The wire mesh is adorned with intricate decorative brass motifs comprising of ribbon swags, foliate and a cornucopia of musical instruments, supported on outscrolling legs with acanthus leaf motif detail.
