The mirror glass plate of rectangular form is set within a finely hand carved, moulded, fluted and reeded giltwood frame with beautifully detailed motifs throughout comprising of gorgeous arrangements of ornate and intricately detailed scallop shells, delicate flowerheads, s and c scrolls motifs against a decorative diamond lattice work background with fabulous lozenge and beading wrapped around the innermost border of the frame.
This piece can be hung in both the landscape or portrait formats.
