A superb 19th Century giltwood overmantle or hall mirror. The mirror glass plate is set within a beautifully hand carved giltwood frame with lozenge and dart moulding with beaded detail, surmounted with an exquisite cartouche with stylised central shell flanked with an intricate arrangement of scrolling foliate and detailed flowerheads, finely carved in high relief.
