A superb 19th Century giltwood overmantle mirror of extremely large proportions. The mirror glass plate set within a beautifully hand carved moulded and shaped giltwood frame of rectangular form with a beaded, egg and dart border, with additional bellhusk and foliate motifs to the top corner returns. Surmounted with a centred, pierced cartouche of a gorgeous ribbon and bow motif detail, finely carved in high relief.
