A very fine 19th Century flame mahogany cheval mirror fabulously hand carved, of exceptional quality with gorgeously rich patination and grain. The bevelled mirror glass plate of rectangular form is set within a finely figured and elegantly simple, moulded mahogany frame, flanked with two beautiful double scroll side supports with reeded detail and ring turned handles which adjust the tension to tilt the mirror to various angles of choice. Supported above a gorgeous serpentine stepped platform base, terminating on out splaying foot with further decorative scroll motif detail and brass casters.
