A very fine 19th Century Irish mahogany two door floor bookcase in the manner of 'Williams and Gibton'. This fabulous piece is of exceptional quality and stunningly hand carved with rich patination and grain. The well figured moulded top of rectangular form is raised over simple frieze above two single glazed panelled doors with moulded closing slip which open to a shelved interior and are flanked with a pair of ring turned columns embellished with beautifully carved foliate detail, supported on moulded platform base.
