A very fine and rare pair of 19th Century French marble top crossbanded kingwood and fruitwood bookcases. The moulded breche d’alep marble top of rectangular form raised over two panelled glazed doors with decorative brass escutcheons opening to a fitted shelved interior, above shaped apron terminating on finely cast foliate sabot foot.
