A very fine early 19th Century Regency mahogany sofa table, of gorgeous quality and beautifully hand carved with rich patination and grain. The well figured, moulded, reeded edge top of rectangular form with twin hinged drop leaves, raised over twin cockbeaded drawer frieze with decorative brass pulls and escutcheons. Supported on elegant, slender reverse tapering pair of finely carved ring turned, column end supports, conjoined with ring turned stretcher, above reeded sabre leg with fabulous scroll detail, terminating on brass toe caps and casters.
