A very fine early 19th Century William IV mahogany desk, finely hand carved with gorgeously rich grain and patination. The moulded top fitted with green gilt embossed tooled leather writing skiver surface raised over frieze with single centred long drawer and beautiful c-scroll and foliate motif detail, flanked with two sets of three drawers, all cockbeaded with reeded detail and turned pulls. Supported on elegant tapering ring turned and fluted legs terminating on brass casters.
