A very fine early 20th Century nine drawer desk, labelled 'Waring and Gillow'. The moulded top of rectangular form fitted with brown embossed tooled leather writing skiver surface and with a beautifully carved moulded edge with flowerhead motif detail, raised over frieze with one long drawer flanked with two short drawers above two pedestals, each with three graduated drawers, all cockbeaded with stunning ornate brass swan neck handles throughtout, supported on eight finely carved cabriole legs with decorative scroll motif on knee, terminating on ball and claw foot. Stamped and labelled 'Waring and Gillow'.
