A very fine Edwardian well figured mahogany display case labelled 'Piggott Bros., Liverpool'. This fabulous piece is of exceptional quality, fully restored and beautifully carved with quarter veneered panelled detailing and with rich patination, fine grain and delicate line inlay throughout. The overhanging pediment is raised over moulded stepped cornice above a stunning pair of twin astragal glazed panelled doors with decorative well cast brass pulls and escutcheons which open to a shelved interior lined with a gorgeous richly scrolling foliate and flowerhead pattern in delicate hues of creams against a gold ground. Raised above shaped apron, terminating on elegantly tapering out-splayed foot.
