A very fine Edwardian richly patinated and well figured mahogany book trough, beautifully carved and of superb quality. The moulded upper book trough of angular form with gorgeous curved side supports above panelled frieze and open shelf. Raised over elegantly tapering, square out-splayed legs conjoined with a second book trough undertaker, terminating on gorgeous brass casters.
