A very rare 19th Century well figured walking cane. This exceptional piece is superbly hand carved with rich patination, grain, features a hall marked gold mounted collar and is surmounted with a beautifully modelled dogs head with glass eyes and a spring loaded mouth fashioned as the handle, finely carved in high relief.
