An exceptional pair of rare 19th Century early Victorian side cabinets in the manner of Lamb of Manchester. Finely hand carved, cross banded, ormolu mounted and line inlaid throughout with richly patinated timbers comprising of burr walnut, sycamore and tulip wood. The well figured moulded top of rectangular form with canted corners is surmounted with pierced ormolu back gallery rail, raised over twin panelled doors with decorative escutcheons and inset with mirror glass plates which open to reveal a shelved interior. Flanked with canted sides with reeded detail and finely cast ormolu mounts with trailing foliate motif detail, supported on platform plinth base with gadroon border.
