A gorgeous pair of 19th Century Oriental porcelain chinoiserie oil lamps converted to table lamps, with gilt metal mounts throughout. The porcelain body is of baluster form and stunningly hand painted in a palette of beautiful pinks, greens, purples and blues against white ground, depicting Oriental figural scenes in traditional dress, flowerheads, butterflies and foliate, framed with further decorative geometric patterned bands, flanked with two scroll gilt metal handles with foliate detail, raised on shaped gilt metal platform base.
