The shaped and curved mirror glass plate is set within a finely hand carved, moulded and fluted giltwood frame adorned throughout with elegantly carved bands of beaded row, leaves and ribbon twist motif detail. Surmounted with an elaborate pierced centred cartouche composition comprising of an arrangement of a scallop shell, c-scrolls and acanthus leaves flanked with exquisitely detailed flowerheads and richly trailing foliate motif detail, stunningly hand carved in high relief, supported on shaped platform base.
