A fabulous 19th Century well figured mahogany hall stand of grand proportions, exceptional quality and finely hand carved with rich patination and grain. The pierced curved arched back with gorgeous panelled, foliate, scroll and intricate open fretwork decorative detailing, features an arrangement of twelve well cast brass coat hooks. Raised over a holder for canes, walking sticks and umbrellas with a beautifully ring turned rail and stunningly carved pierced serpentine side supports above a fitted lead drip pan, terminating on platform plinth base of rectangular form and elegant bun foot.
